I’m a yoga teacher inspired by Iyengar, Anusara, Vinyasa Flow and Strength Training, as well, as a conscious activist with a degree in Sociology from California State University, Northridge. I stepped into my first yoga class as a rebellious, stressed out college student and started the journey inward coming to realize: "Yesterday I was clever so I wanted to change the world." "Today I am wise so I'm changing myself." The journey continued with a 200 Hour teacher training at Black Dog Yoga, a 300 hour teacher training from Anusara School of Hatha with Keric Morinaga and many other trainings including Trauma Informed Training with Uprising Yoga and Yoga, Purpose, and Action Leadership Training with Off the Mat into the World. I’m sharing this journey with others at various studios and on Zoom. I also teach chair yoga at senior centers and created a yoga and mindfulness class for an elementary school enrichment program for K-5th graders.

Teaching is my passion. I've dedicated myself to creating a compassionate learning environment that is both physically and mentally stimulating. Promoting healing from the inside out, as well as building confidence and strength are key components to my classes. With a fun-loving attitude, high energy, and innovative teaching skills, my goal is to have students leave class feeling empowered, rejuvenated, and connected to a community. 

Yoga is not exercise, it is a way to remember our connection to our bodies, spirits, and the collective. It is my intention for the practice on the mat to shed light on what separates us and bring us back to wholeness inside our bodies and out in the world so that we can truly live as one.
